Extensive Modern Architecture tour Den Haag

This considerable walk which leads from the recently developed station area Den Haag HS will pass along the city centre highlights towards the area where Den Haag Central Station is still in development. You start the walk at the highest student housing tower in the Netherlands ‘het Strijkijzer’ (flatiron) and end at Den Haag’s highest building ‘de Hoftoren’.

There is a coffee break in the city centre where smaller new development projects are becoming integrated in the city. Traditionalistic architecture like the Haagse Bluf but also the modern experimental architecture like the Baljurk has recently been built in the old town.

Your ArchiGuide will show you the urban developments in the Spui- and Wijnhavenquarter where the ministries are located. Architectural highlights like the City Hall by Richard Meijer and the Souterrain by Rem Koolhaas are located here.
