Beatrixquarter

The Beatrixquarter is a modern metropolitan office district close to Central Station. Motorists will know this area from taking the Utrechtse Baan: the motorway over which many buildings have been constructed in a spectacular manner.

Companies like Nationale Nederlanden, Siemens, TPG and SDU are located here. Striking elements are the 100-metres high microwave tranmission tower from 1970 and the Prinsenhofcomplex which has been a noticeable feature since 2006.

The central axis is the Prinses Beatrixlaan; alongside you will find exquisite architecture like the Netkousviaduct (Stocking) with the new Randstadrail station (light-rail station).
